🌊 Flood Watch in Effect Through This Afternoon
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for our area, in effect through 1pm this afternoon. Repeated rounds of heavy rain, sometimes called training storms, have raised the risk of flooding in creeks, streams, and other low-lying or flood-prone spots.
If you drive today, remember the basics: never drive through a flooded roadway, even if it looks shallow. Turn around, don't drown.
Quick Details
⏱ Watch ends: 1:00pm today
⚠ What to do: Avoid driving through flooded roads, watch for localized flooding in low areas
