After a season-ticket-member-only session Wednesday, Chiefs training camp opens to the general public today at 9:15am at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph - about an hour's drive from Basehor.
Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance at chiefs.com/trainingcamp, and parking runs $8 per vehicle. One heads-up: with rain in today's forecast, if weather forces practice indoors, the session closes to the public - so check the Chiefs' site before you make the drive.

Fair days keep the barns busy from morning to night. Today brings the Rabbit Show and Beef Cattle Show both at 8am, the Dairy Goat Show at 4pm, and the Dairy Cattle Show at 8pm - a full slate of 4-H and FFA families showing what they've raised this year.
And Rodeo Gold returns for night two, gates at 6pm, rodeo at 7pm. Same pricing as Wednesday: $15 adults, $10 ages 6-12, free under 5.
