Your Retirement Has a Vulnerability Most Advisors Never Mention.
Dollar-denominated accounts β 401(k)s, IRAs, savings β are fully exposed to inflation, currency debasement, and government policy. Most financial advisors won't tell you that, because most of them don't profit when you know. Here's what's actually available to you:
A Gold IRA uses the same tax protections you already have
Physical gold sits outside inflation and banking risk
Accounts can go live in as little as 24 hours
Zero setup fees, zero-fee buyback guaranteed
Free 2026 kit explains everything β no obligation

Meme of the Day

Patchy fog this morning, then 91 with a storm chance late. After that it's all heat: 94 Saturday, 95 Sunday, and pushing 98 by Monday. Limit the midday yard work and keep the water bottles filled.

Tonight's the Night: Paige King Johnson on the Lawn
It's concert night, Basehor! Country singer-songwriter Paige King Johnson takes the City Hall lawn this evening for July's Third Thursdays: Concerts on the Lawn. Pack up your lawn chairs and blankets, round up the family, and come enjoy free live music with your neighbors.
Good news on the weather front: storm chances for this evening have come down from earlier in the week. There's still a chance of a late shower or storm, so keep an eye on the city's website for any updates, but it's looking better than it did.

π‘ Fair Countdown: 12 Days
The Leavenworth County Fair's 100th anniversary is now just 12 days away (July 28 to August 1 in Tonganoxie).
Today's fair fact: The whole thing started in 1926 as a downtown Tonganoxie celebration of a bumper corn crop. One hundred years later, that corn party has grown into the county's biggest summer tradition, with free admission and just $5 parking.
