🥵 Heat Advisory Territory: 98 Today, 100 Tomorrow
This is genuinely dangerous heat for late August. Today's high near 98 comes with a heat index up to 101, and it barely lets up overnight with a low around 79. Tomorrow climbs even higher to near 100, with a heat index as high as 104.
If you're outside for any length of time today or tomorrow, take it seriously: hydrate often, take breaks in the shade or AC, and check on elderly neighbors or anyone without reliable air conditioning.
