Heads up, Basehor: it's not in town, but Tiblow Days in nearby Bonner Springs wraps up its 47th annual run this weekend, and today is parade day. The Tiblow Days Parade steps off at 9:30am along Nettleton Avenue, with viewing between Morse Avenue and Oak Street. If you want to walk in it, there's no pre-registration, just show up at Lions Park by 8:30am and volunteers will get you placed.
It's a short drive from Basehor and a fun way to spend a Saturday morning if you're looking for something close to home.
