Local Teens Lend a Hand at Basehor-Linwood Food Pantry

Five young volunteers — Paige, Leah, Luke, Brody, and Bryson — pitched in this week at Basehor-Linwood Assistance Services, helping the food pantry move through a busy evening of donations and distribution.

The crew packed incoming donations into totes for the TTStockers, gathered groceries for families, and carried orders out to waiting cars. They also helped wrap up the night by assisting with evening inventory.

It's the kind of behind-the-scenes work that keeps a community pantry running, and it doesn't happen without volunteers showing up. Basehor-Linwood Assistance Services shared their thanks on Facebook, calling out each volunteer by name and telling them they made a difference.
