This Week's Weather

Basehor, KS — Week of June 22, 2026

Coming off a warm stretch last week, this week looks mostly sunny and summer-hot. Expect highs in the mid-to-upper 80s most days — great weather for the splash pad, the dressage show at West End Farm, and Sunday's Cinema Sundays movie on the lawn. Keep an eye on the radar mid-week as afternoon storms are always possible in late June. Sunscreen, water bottle, and maybe an umbrella in the car is your best bet all week.

This Week's Highlight

🎬 Cinema Sundays: Jumanji — June 28

Pack a blanket and head to the Civic Campus Amphitheater (1600 N. 158th St.) on Sunday, June 28 for a free outdoor screening of Jumanji. This is one of those classic small-town summer evenings — kids sprawled on the lawn, popcorn in hand, stars overhead. It's free, it's family-friendly, and it doesn't get more Basehor than this.

Showtime is at dusk — check basehorparksandrec.org for the exact time as the date gets closer.
